Magic Eastern Ensemble’s Erhu Player-Cindy Fang

Cindy Fang, erhu, graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Master of Arts degree in Advertising. She began playing the Erhu when she was four or five years old. Her instructor was the principal Erhu from China Coal-mine Art Troupe in Beijing. She has practiced and performed for school orchestras since middle school and has participated in school performance events such as welcoming visiting school officials from a Japanese sister high school in Nagoya. She loves traditional Chinese music and has also learned the Pipa. She plays the Erhu in the Magic Eastern Ensemble and has held Hayao Miyazaki theme concerts and Emory Cooke Noontime Concert Series with the Ensemble, participated in other International cultural and arts festivals in Georgia.

方英,毕业于萨瓦纳艺术设计学院。她从四五岁起向王树刚先生（曾任中国煤矿文工团二胡首席）学习二胡。在初高中时，一直参与校民乐团的排练与演出。曾与校民乐团一起参与日本星城高中的接待演出。因非常喜欢中国民乐, 又学习了琵琶。她现在是魔力东方乐团的一名二胡乐手，与魔力东方乐团一起参与了2019年久石让主题系列音乐会，2021 Emory Cooke 午茶系列音乐会以及其他佐治亚州的音乐艺术文化节。2021年在新加坡南洋艺术学院国际音乐赛中获得二胡高级非专业组铜奖
